MVP Wins Two Silvers in the 2006 Davey Awards

Minneapolis, August 10, 2007—The Davey Awards honored MVP Marketing + Design with two silver awards for its development of Web sites for Tekran Instruments Corporation (www.tekran.com) and the Minnesota Sleep Institute (www.minnsleep.com).

The Tekran Web site was part of a complete re-branding project to integrate three disparate mercury measurement business units and demonstrate Tekran’s commitment to compliance with the new EPA mercury guidelines. The Web site features the company’s legendary co-founders, a “countdown to compliance” timer and a Flash sequence that explains how Tekran can help companies become mercury compliant by the 2009 deadline.

The Minnesota Sleep Institute Web site was developed to target its two main audiences: clinicians who refer patients and individuals who are concerned they may have a sleep disorder.

The site allows visitors seeking information on sleep disorders to take the “Epworth Sleep Scale Self Test,” tour the MSI facilities or learn what to expect on their first visit to the clinic.

The Davey Awards is an international creative award focused exclusively on honoring outstanding creative work from the best small firms worldwide.
